Hi, I have been able to change the sex of my husband pretty easily, but when I try and do ancestry reports for our children it will only do the report of the spouse in the Male (for two guys) or female (for two girls) spots. That happens for all same sex couples in my reports. I know that this has been in the pipeline for quite a long time because I brought it up almost a year and half ago.
Work arounds are OK but a permanent fix would be fantastic. The use of a word processor to amend final text is clearly far easier in my case than attacking the database with MS Access even though I do have and use that. I am concerned that the fix will leave my database vulnerable as you say to other issues and add ins not working. I wonder if anyone has a template of how they handled it post production with a word processor in their tree? Can you give any indication Jim when the problem will be resolved in the software though? Hopefully before the following tree publication in 5 month time. From another post it seems to have been in the pipeline for a very long time Best regards Stan Baker -----Original Message----- From: Jim Terry/Support [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, August 27, 2015 2:59 AM To: [email protected] Subject: re: [LegacyUG] Same sex Marriages Sorry about the link.
