Now to further complicate matters.... Dad had sent me his revised data files. Then he upgraded to v8 and I didn't. Then he kept updating the database with legitimate data. He's snail mailed a data DVD to me.
I don't plan to update Legacy at the moment, but obviously I'll need v8 to open his new files. So the question is: Can I have two versions of the software running on the same machine? If so, can they both be open at the same time (using different data files)? Otherwise I can try installing v8 on my laptop which doesn't currently have Legacy, but it's getting old and the Windows 10 upgrade is causing problems.
