I don't attach anything to my Ancestry tree, I enter the data I find in
Legacy only. Downloading an Ancestry gedcom and trying to merge that
with your real Legacy database is a process almost guaranteed to give
you headaches and a mess. It may be OK if you use very few Legacy
features and don't care much about sources being consistent.
