I have Census Events and Censuses as Sources but there is not a lot of duplication. I put all the information from the Census about each Individual in the Description field and the Residence in the Location field. (Some people don't like to do this.) I use the Notes to list all the other members of the household and sometimes extra information such as "John's parents were living next door." The Source includes the Census reference, the date, the Civil Parish & County and details of the website where I viewed the Census and I attach a copy of the image, but I do not repeat all of the information entered in the Event. (If I was producing a Report which included Census Events for 2 or more people in the same household I would not repeat the Event Notes for everyone, just include them for the Head of Household or other person as appropriate.) -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
