Mike, Whilst I agree with your basic point, I have never considered the census to be an event, but only a source. From the census I have a Resident Event for each family member still there, plus Name, Occupation, possible Birth Date and relationships sourced from the census, this avoids the duplication and contains all the information.

In my view, the Census is an Event. The Schedules (or documentation) produced from a census, is a Source. If you can avoid using Census for both terms, there would be less confusion. -- Regards, Mike Fry (Jhb) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
