Gene, I tried using LFT with Mint and Ubuntu in conjunction with Crossover by Codeweavers. However, Crossover does not function with the current version of LFT. Crossover advised that updating their software to function with LFT would be placed on there work plan but it was not a priority and there was no timeline available as to when it might be updated. I also tried Sun's virtual machine to run LFT but was not successful. It was about at this point that I came to the conclusion that there weren't enough benefits in running a linux system, primarily because of the absence of really good software. Both Mint and Ubuntu worked flawlessly I was really impressed. The available application software was free but didn't work very well for me.
