Don’t give up…there are always alternative solutions. The easiest for you (and
others that want to share a graphic image relating to Legacy issues) would be
to post your message in this forum but provide a link to where you have
uploaded the image to any of a number of free spaces on the internet
(Printerest, your own domain, other image sharing sources, etc).

This eliminates any problem of slowing down any users of this forum that are
still stuck in the 1990s and using 56k dial-up modems. Of course, it
technically does not eliminate the possibility of a virus hidden inside a jpg
image but at least the Legacy people can say you didn’t catch it from them.
Besides everyone should be using some form of real-time virus checks while
using their computer.

Just trying to be helpful.

The etiquette guidelines don't say anything about embedded images and I suspect
I couldnt write an understandable answer without using them..

So I'll give up.

Graphics that are embedded in the email, as opposed to attached.

Either one is a no-no on the list.

Please do no post graphics to the LUG list!

Many of our listers still have slow connections or limited data rates.

I don't know about anyone else, but the inline graphics can really
mess up the formatting in my webmail as well.

Please review the guidelines on our website at
www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp - there's a link to it at the
bottom of every email posted.
