Ancestry tells me there have been 78,211 in 100 years with Jay as a first or middle name, so maybe I've met lots of them and didn't know it. Apologies to any Jays out there for thinking that your name wasn't used hereĆ - I now know that is generally a boys name, with about 10% being girls.
