It's purpose is really whatever you want it to be! If you find the default Sentence doesn't suit your purposes you can change it. I use the Description field to enter all the details of the relevant individual as given in the Census, then use the Notes field to list the other members of the household. In a Report this reads like this: England Census: on 3 April 1881 he was enumerated at 26 Lower Road, Erith, Kent, England as Arthur John Dodd; head of household; married; aged 24; born in Poplar, Middlesex; Manager at Oil Refinery. The household comprised Arthur John Dodd & his wife Elizabeth Charlotte Cooper, their children Arthur Dodd & Edith Mary Dodd and a Domestic Servant.
