Bob (and Gary) It REALLY doesn't matter which drive your data is on on each computer.
You just tell Legacy where your data is (Options - Customise 6.1 and 6.2) on both computers. There is clever stuff in Legacy 8 that facilitates having media on both computers recognised just by making sure 6.2 is set to the top media folder and you don't even need to use the Media Relinker. If necessary, you need to use Search and Replace on Lists- Media Folders to replace the entire path including the top media folder but not the sub-folders to [Default Media Folder]\ ie Find C:\Users\Cathy\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\Media\ Replace with [Default Media Folder]\ All that different path stuff doesn't matter if you use the tools available.
