ALT+ESC will also toggle through open windows. ALT+TAB cycles through "primary" windows, ALT+ESC cycles through ALL windows - including child windows (pop-up type windows).

On a side note - if a PRIMARY window is off the screen, you can SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK on the item in the task bar. If RESTORE is available, click that ( you want it in a window. You do not want it full-screen nor do you want it minimized to the task bar). Once you've picked RESTORE, SHIFT+Right click on it in the task bar item again and select MOVE. Then use your arrow keys to move it from off-screen back to your screen. If you are not sure which arrow key to use (if you are not sure if it is off screen to the left or right or up or down), try SHIFT+MAXIMIZE and SHIFT+MINIMIZE repeatedly - you can usually see a quick graphic of it expanding/shrinking to figure out where it is. Once you know where it is, then do the SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK to restore and SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK and move. Unfortunately I don't think this works for a "child-window".

No! I meant exactly what I said. Hitting Alt by itself will sometimes pop the currently active window to the front.

Since Legacy's internal screens are not separate programs only the Main Legacy screen will appear in the Alt+Tab display of active programs.

Linda,

In Brian's reply from Support, I think he meant to use the key
combination of 'Alt + TAB' to display all the active windows in your
operating systems - Windows 8.

You can also 'Right Click' on the Up Arrow in your notification area
(lower right corner where you time is) and select 'Cascade Windows' to
open all windows on your screen.

Hope you find this helpful.

I have Legacy Deluxe 8.0.0.538 installed on my Dell Desktop and on my

I have Windows 8 on both computers. Everything works fine on my
desktop. I am able to open my To-Do List and work with my individual
files. On my Surface Pro 3, I cannot open my To-Do List. Legacy
freezes up and I usually have to do a forced sign-off. Any ideas as
to why this happens or what I can do to correct it? Everything else
seems to work fine and my data syncs great between the 2 computers.
Thank you,
