check out the Rootsweb Mailing lists now that Rootsweb is back up after
server problems. There are lists for most areas as well as general lists.
http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/
To get an idea of whether a list is still active, look at the archives
for that list. The lists I am on are much quieter than they used to be.
