I hand enter all information I find into Legacy. Even if the merging were easier, the format it comes in from Ancestry doesn't meet my standards.

if you really want to merge in an Ancestry gedcom, at least when importing it, use the option to give a start number for the RINs and choose one much higher than the number of people in your file so you can see at a glance which person has come from Ancestry. I assume you don't use SourceWriter sources and are happy with the way Ancestry formats sources.

The original message to the list is in the attachment.

This action is required because of the DMARC Reject/Quarantine Policy
imposed by some email providers. Users who want to send messages
without conversion to attachments should use a different email address
for their subscription.

Known providers for free email accounts whose emails do not require
this conversion include gmail.com and hotmail.com. Many other email
providers will also work but you will have to give them a try.
