It is for those still using Windows XP.

On June 26, 2016, the Dropbox desktop app for Windows XP will no longer be
available for download on dropbox.com. Signing in to an existing account or
creating a new account will also no longer be possible on Windows XP.

On August 29, 2016, the Dropbox desktop app will no longer support Windows
XP. On this date, you will be automatically signed out of any Dropbox
accounts linked to a Windows XP computer. You can sign in again once you
update to Windows Vista or a later version of Windows.

If you are signed out of your Dropbox account, please know that no changes
will be made to your account. Your files and photos will be safe. You'll
still be able to access your account-or create a new account-on dropbox.com
or on other compatible computers and mobile devices.

Why do you say that Dropbox is going to stop working in August, please?
Can you point to an announcement from Dropbox?

Wendy
