Did you go to our Support website (www.LegacyFamilyTree.com > Help Center or 
click on the link in the Support section of the Legacy Home tab) and look up 
the error message?

It has nothing to do with LDB files.... You need to do a complete uninstall and 
reinstall

Hi

        That is caused because the Jet engine has found a lock database for
your Legacy database.

        Your Legacy database will be xxxx.fdb and the system found a
matching xxxx.ldb file, in the same folder, that is created when you are
running Legacy.

        All you need to do is locate the .ldb file and delete it.

        DO NOT DELETE the .fdb.

I just installed a new hard drive and have reconstructed my files and trying
to reclaim my life after a hard drive crash.  I got everything restored and
updated.  However, when I attempt to open Legacy, I received the following
error:

Error Opening Message File.

The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and
another user are attempting to change the same datat at the same time.

There is no other computer connected and no other ap is trying to open the
Legacy file.  Any help would be appreciated.
