I'm curious as to why anyone would want to download and add a program that does exactly what is already built into Windows. For example, you mentioned that it was logical for her to search for *.fdb but that is the same exact search criteria she would use if using the built in Windows search. What special benefits does Powersearch offer?

It has a much more logical way of searching for files. She should search for something like *.fdb. I would think that what your mom probably did was combine her family info into another folder on the desktop. When done, she went to her Legacy 7.5 and opened it. It opens to one of her picture files for her to look at pictures. NOT her family info. We can not find her Family file? What could she have done? If we go to "File, Open Family File" it does not have anything? Nothing is in her Recycle Bin so it has not been deleted. I tried to Restore but nothing happened.
