1. Go to your options section 3 Data format and change surnames to
don't change what I enter.
2. Change section 3. 4 to turn off display surnames in all caps. You
may want to turn on display surname within slashes so you can see what
the surnames are.
3. When entering surnames if yoiu have two forms, Smith and SMITH for
example, make sure you select the correct one when entering or editing
a person.
