CE, That 260 Char limit has caused me problems not directly with the Legacy media path but with the zipped media backup. When I've copied from desk to laptop som media was mysteriously missing. I had to shorten a lot of subfolders to make them fit into the zip backup. I wasn't aware of the ability to extend path so thanks for that info.
