From within the program, you can see - I think it's the last 10 - recently opened files by clicking the Big L in the top left corner of the program window.
If it's not a big L you'll have a System Ribbon Tab - has the same items.
Which you have depends on the Ribbon style you're using.

If you don't follow - there are pictures in this article:
http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00895/11/Error-Messages-Problems/I-lost-my-family-file-Legacy-8.html

I use this Recent File list all the time to switch between files.

I only have one personal real file, but I'm a Legacy tester so have heaps of test files.

The blue circle with the “L” in it.

Bobby Johnson:

Which icon do you call the “Legacy” icon?

If you have the Legacy icon pinned to the task bar and you right click
on it you will get a list of the most recent files.

How do I get a list of the files I've recently opened (I just need the
last two).

I have been going thru my media files and changing the names of some
of them to improve consistency and make finding what I want easier.

Somehow, when I click File, Open, I am given the option of using a
Windows dialog or having Legacy create a list when all I want is a
list of the most recent files!

Thanks!

Pat
