Well, now, this is odd. When I go into Legacy (not using the Picture
Center yet) to check on the missing files, it shows the new file names and
I don't have to change them, just reattach them. Does that make sense? To
explain further, let's say it tells me I'm missing an 1880 census for John
Brown, I go to John Brown's entry, find the 1880 census entry, click Edit
(there is no picture in the lower right), I right-click on the picture
icon, am told the picture is missing, I opt to browse for the file myself,
am given the "old" filename (*i.e.*, the new, amended filename I had
recently given the image) and all I have to do is to click "Open" and it
reappears (whereas ordinarily I would have to modify the filename to find
it).

I hope that makes sense.

Another thing I absolutely do not understand. If I go for the option to
have Legacy search for the missing image/file, Legacy does NOT begin by
looking in either of the two folders I use to save my images for Legacy,
but instead looks in folders I've never heard of before. Does that make
any sense whatsoever???

Also, how do I trim the old messages from this email??
