It makes a great deal of sense to me, as I have been doing it for 30 years. I've been using Legacy for 14 years, and every single record in my Legacy file had been imported from a program that exports by range of RINs, so that the 23000 records have the same RINs in each program,. Because Legacy does not have that capability, I have not used Legacy as my program of first entry, but have continued to use the other program that does have the capability. > If you're wanting to export only people created or modified after a > certain date, you can do that now by doing a search on Modified Date or > Added Date. I never merge or delete records in my main data file. If I want to reuse a RIN, I retype the data. -- Steve Hayes E-mail: sha...@dunelm.org.uk Blog: http://khanya.wordpress.com Web: http://www.khanya.org.za/stevesig.htm Phone: 083-342-3563 or 012-333-6727 Fax: 086-548-2525 -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/
