Okay, I'm nervous about asking this, because the answer is sort of a big deal in my world! Seriously, please don't judge me, but I have to confess that I am still running Legacy 6 Deluxe (on Windows 7 Professional). That's right, I have not updated in all this time. It took me a long time to get comfortable with how Legacy works, and I simply didn't want to rock the boat, since it was working for me.
However, I am now trying to get all my ducks in a row for the possibility of a new laptop, and I'm fairly certain I will want/need the latest version of Legacy when I do that. So, I'm thinking I should go ahead now and update Legacy while I still have an operating system I understand, so that once I am forced to go to Windows 10 (by virtue of buying a new laptop), at least I'll already be comfortable with the Legacy 8 software. I believe I have read that Legacy 8 does work with Windows 7 (and I'm sure it is compatible with Windows 10 as well). Bottom line question here: to avoid the group involvement in all my questions about this process, etc., is there someone who would be willing to answer my questions/walk me through some of this outside the group? I have a few questions that I need to understand before I actually try the update.
