Now that makes perfect sense. I'm flagging this note to perhaps save me some 
pain when I do a new install into Windows 10.

Agree about the admin thing--I currently cannot get rid of a folder (a Western 
Digital folder) I do not want on an external hard drive, because it says I 
don't have administrative privileges. Enfuriating.
