It's already been listed during development.
Note you probably meant to send this to the Legacy Test list and not the
Legacy User Group.
Note also you can set the terms for a particular relationship or
marriage on the Wording options tab for that relationship.
Most people felt that with same-sex marriages, it was better to ask and
that perhaps a default at 8.7 wasn't necessary since you can enter your
own terms for each relationship already anyway. I'd rather set a default
and then vary it when desired as with other relationships.

I already had objections from one male-male couple where one of the
partners
was identified as the "wife".
I know it can be change in English for "Spouse", but it is not a solution
for languages like French where there is a different term for
masculine and
feminine - époux/épouse or conjoint/conjointe.
Probably needs to be added to Mantis.
