I found a free software app that will resize photos.  It will even to an entire 
folder at a time.  I use it for when I create web pages from legacy - I make a 
copy of my images folder, then run the re-sizer on the whole folder.  I then 
use the re-sized ones as thumbnails on my web page, linking to the full-sized 
picture when the user clicks on it.  That makes the web pages load WAY faster.

When I get home tonight I'll try and remember to post the name of the package.  
I want to say "foto-sizer" or something like that.
