Did you sort this out?
You can open Legacy by going to ...\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\Data\
from Windows Explorer/File Explorer and then double clicking the Sample
file - Sample.fdb
Then in Legacy you use File - Close to close it
Then File - File Maintenance - Check/Repair and find your own file in
the dialogue box that opens to choose a file.
Then see if you can open it.
If not, the quickest option is to restore a backup. File - Restore
