The examples I show in my message are only for the Main Person. The output
for the shared person looks ok, but you do have to exercise it to get the
[Person] to be filled in. Once that [Person] is filled in, it appears that
you must exercise the shared message for a different shared person (in my
case there is only one shared person for the event) to get the [Person]
field to change.

BTW, what do you do if the main person shares things with more than one
other person. Should I expect the [Person] field to become a list of people?

I am not sure how to help you with this but I do want to point out that
there are two sentence definitions when you are working with shared events.
The master Event sentence is used for the owner or principal person of the
event but when the event is shared there are sentence definitions for the
shared event based on the role of the participants.

If you look at each level of the event there are special codes used in the
shared event for the principal person and the sharer of the event.
Your missing name problem may result from an incorrect code in the master
event or in the shared sentences for the role you assigned to those who
share the letter.

Use the on screen help buttons when working with the event sentences to help
sort out which name format you need in each level.
