I found the issue Michele was looking for and gave her the issue number
privately. Submit the suggestion anyway, Michele can add this to the
issue and it might help get the issue raised in priority.

I was very interested to read the following in your post:

Has there ever been a feature recommendation to include the _AppData
folder in Legacy’s backup system? As important as this folder is I would
expect the folder would have been included as part of the backup long ago.
