I “think” that this means you have to register at the FamilySearch site, not be a church member.

But when I get a hint that utilizes one of their records (and that is rare which is why this hasn't happened before I assume) Legacy cannot take me there. It says I must be a member of FamilySearch. I assume that means a church member as I have an account at FamilySearch. Am I doing something wrong or are Legacy hints from everything except FamilySearch accessible only to church members?
