If I remember correctly the /par code is a code used in rich text format(rtf) files to indicate a paragraph. The text you are copying from Ancestry may be in rtf format.
Brian, the RTF formating for a paragraph looks like this in an ascii environment; \par \pard\plain \s0\widctlpar\hyphpar0\cf0\kerning1\dbch\af8\langfe2052\dbch\af6\afs24\alang1081\loch\f3\hich\af3\fs24\lang1033{\rtlch \ltrch\loch is} Notice the "\par" with a backslash. I wish she would post one of the links she is copying from. I would like to see it myself. -- Gene Young Researching Young, Harer, Cox & Sallada With Legacy Family Tree http://myyoungs.atspace.com/index.htm -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/
