Hello Gail,
If I my respond to your question based on my education in 30 plus years of
genealogical practices and DNA researching. “Yes,” If you are working online
and have your database content connected to company’s like My Heritage, Find My
Past, Family Search. Org, and many others. Your family data is looked at as a
whole and matches connection collectively. If you wish to keep them as
separated that is fine also. There is no wrong or right to research databases
it based on your style.
Inconclusion, I would and do as a Genealogical DNA researcher, it bring
everyone together as a true family as a whole. If I can assist you further feel
free to respond.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Different family files

Hi Folks... I am hoping someone will have the patience to tell me if I should
add all my different family files into just the one.
If this is the best way to go and will some information and media overlap and
cause difficulties.
I have eight files eg. Husbands maternal and another paternal... same for my
families. Takes time to backup each one.
How to go about merging all files.
