David,

You want an Individual Report with all Events except this one.
For some reason you privatised all events even though you're happy to send all the others now to a Museum.

It sounds as if you used the Privacy checkbox to mark this particular event private for each event. There is no way to search and replace on that that I know of and certainly not just for one individual. So the ultimate solution is to unprivatise each event from the Edit screen for each Event for this person.

However, you could temporarily use the Event Clipboard to copy and paste this one Event to somebody else (perhaps a new fake person). After pasting go back and delete it.
Create your report overriding Event privacy.
Then go to the Fake person and put the event back on the Event Clipboard. Paste it back to this individual and then you might want to delete the fake person you created. Note you have to do the pasting before you do anything to the event you copied as it's just the links that are saved in the background to enable the paste.

David,

It depends where you need them off.

eg The Privacy Options on all output allows you to include Private
events whether the Master Event has been made private or the
particular instance of the Event has been made private.
So if you're doing an Individual or Family Group Report you can just
choose to include Private Events and not change the Privacy flags.
So what are you doing?

Hi Cathy, [This time I'll hit Reply All instead of Reply]

Sorry I should've continued to explain.

I need one Individual Report, no trouble with that, but at the moment I
have one Event, amongst many many others, but this one particular event
is a personal Letter sent in 1916, and this obviously is marked private,
and I don't ever want it exported.

I'm being lazy here I know, but for this person I've marked every event
as Private, as it ensures the research stays with me.   Easy I thought,
just untag all the events privacy tag, mark this letter event as private
and then do the Report without choosing to export Private material.

The Sources don't worry me that much, as the Report is going to a
Museum, so they'll w ant to know how I know; It's only this one event I
want to stop.

So if my explanation has got any better, I wondered does Legacy allow me
to remove private tags from events in a kind of a Search & Replace ?

Cheers
