Sheila,
The most probable reason is that your security software has blocked Legacy.
For some reason just reinstalling Legacy seems to work - the second time
the security software lets it through. Who knows why?

The normal way to update Legacy Deluxe is to use the link on the Legacy
Home tab in the Update box.

screen just went blank. I tried to reopen and it wouldn't open. Then I
rebooted the machine and this didn't work either, to open the program.
Do I now, need to download the whole program again and reinstall? I
