I have tried but still can't get the notes to remove. not sure what the
dio9splay you show is. I have the free version of Legacy not sure if that has
anything to do with it.
On the GEDCOM Export dio9splay, select the Customise button (bottom right)

tree you want to include/exclude The Notes are probably NOTE, MNOTE and RNOTE.
