Ian, Do you, like me, live in Australia? I once subscribed to MyHeritage and did not know why I was subjected to every dirty trick in the book, while other subscribers seemed happy with MyHeritage. Recently I found out the US has strict laws against such “Dark Pattern” tricks, but Australia does not. It appears to me that MyHeritage, instead of simply treating Australians the same way as Americans, deliberately crafted their interface for Australians, to trick them.
