Wm, must be WordPerfect;-> I had another, closer look at the .rtf report I'd
generated in Word, the General Notes heading is fine eg: "General
Notes:Living at Northway near Tewkesbury, GLS in 1827"
HOWEVER, when I opened the same report in WordPad, the "Sources" heading had
disappeared (along with the other page headings), a similar thing happened
when I used an ancient version of MSWorks to open the file. The General
Notes line was OK though.
I guess the appearance of documents in Rich Text Format is dependant on the
programme they are opened in.

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] RTF Report, no "Sources" heading
I did the same, but opened in WordPerfect. Source header and text all show
appropriately. The fonts (5 of them!) and the tabbing are a mess however
(latest version of Legacy & WP). Also, the general notes line comes through
as one word: GeneralNotes:AnotedsilversmithofNewburyport... not bad on a few
generations, but a real labour to clean up with 7 or 8.
