[LegacyUG] Non-related Individuals

Hi    Can anyone tell me how to enter an individual into Legacy who isn't related - just a friend?   Also, I think this may have been discussed, but when I imported a GEDCOM into Legacy from FTM there were a lot of errors reported - in many cases upper and lower cases were switched in notes, occupations, etc.  Is there a fix for this?  Perhaps this will be fixed with version 4.0?    Thanks for the help!!
