To generate the index to the report you have exported as an RTF to Word and then added notes, different page breaks etc, you stay in Word and use the Word facility. Legacy has put in the required code for the pages it has generated.
The directions on how to do it are exported with the RTF file. If you want to see the codes you need to show hidden text in Word.
Your question 3 relies on the report options you choose. The Descendant Narrative Report supports the use of Henry Numbers. It's not a report I use as I prefer the Descendant Report. This report gives people their own special number.

OH, while I am asking more questions - will Legacy allow me to print the report with unique numbers in front of each person instead of the generation numbers - my Q3 from before.
