Guy,
Export to a new Legacy file. Choose a focus group for export. Start with any person you wish and choose their descendants or ancestors. Then you can make any report that you want.

Like everyone, I have four main ancestry lines related to my grandparents. Within each main line there are several side branches or intersecting lines containing data describing the ancestors and/or descendents of individuals who are in one of the main lines.
What I want to do is to be able to select, extract, print or whatever to any of the main lines or side branches in those lines independent of everything else. I'd like to be able to pull out data subsets and give them to the families described by them for review and for them to keep.
Is it possible to use Legacy 5.0 to operate on subsets of a family history data file in the manner I described? If so, how is it accomplished?
Thanks in advance.
