Legacy's powerful tagging tools allows you to do most of what you want with a couple of clicks. Select Advanced Tagging by right clicking on the tag boxes just above the parents on the family view. You can select ancestors or descendants in several variations, then tag them. Select (on the name list screen) search/view all tag # to see what you got, and modify if you like. You can work with them in several ways, and export or print any tag number.
