Rob did a better job of describing the Assigned Sources screen. But let's talk examples, because I thought you said you had 2 sourced Alt. Birth Events...
Ex. 1 - 1 Alt. Birth Event with 2 Sources
A ways down the Assigned Sources screen you would see:
Alt. Birth source1
source 2
Maybe this is your current situation...?Ex. 2 - 2 Alt. Birth Events each with its own Source
A ways down the Assigned Sources screen you would see:
Alt. Birth source1
source2
Alt. Birth source3
This is how it would look if you added another Event as you suggested.BTW, I have entered an alternate name as Alt. Birth.

You wrote < In the Assigned Sources screen, multiple sources for the same
event are grouped, with the Event Name e.g. Alt, Birth, only being shown
against the first event. This makes it clear that there is one event with
multiple sources. If you have two Alt. Birth events, each with one source,
say, you will get two adjacent Alt. Birth entries in the Events column of
the Assigned Sources list. This makes it clear that there are two separate
events. It works for me, but sounds like this is not happening for you, or
maybe I'm missing something?> You aren't missing anything. Mine is
working the way you describe; alt birth shows only once in the far left
column of the assigned sources screen and then another alt birth source
follows without the designation in the left column. It's suppose to be like
that!! Well, good. I was thinking I'd left some field or some information
out when entering information and that the lack of the event being in the
left column would have some disastrous effect down the line someplace! Now
what happens when I have a source that proves someone's name and gives
another alt birth event? Is it listed beside 'name' or as an 'alt birth'
event?
