: Hi, I am still trying to create Census events for each year of the census : (Census 1881, Census 1871 etc). Other programs (PAF5 and TMG5) allow you to : "copy" an event definition then make any necessary changes. : Marina : >From Kelowna, BC
There is a method to copy and re use an entered (and sourced) Event in Legacy. Once the Event information is entered, sourced and saved ... highlight the Event in the event list on the individual's information screen, click on edit and then look to the lower right hand area of the edit screen. Here you will see a 'copy to clipboard' symbol and a 'paste from clipboard' symbol. Click on 'copy to clipboard to copy your census event... open the next person's individual information screen, click on Add to add a new event, then click on the paste from clipboard symbol and change whatever information needs changing, save and go on to the next person. If I've described the steps to take accurately, I hope this might help you accomplish what you'd like to do.
