Hi Rodney,
Unless I've missed something, it's actually not a big deal (at least within Legacy) when a new image becomes available. When you link to it, simply drag it to the right spot in the gallery. All the others readjust appropriately. You can use the + key to shrink the thumbnails and get lots of images on the screen, so you can see where to drag to without scrolling.

Cheers,
Rob

Many thanks to Rich, Cathy, Dan and William for their input. That's a bind,
having to re-do them every time another image becomes available! :o(
Actually, I use a Residence event with multiple images to display online
using PhpGedview, so it's not directly a Legacy thing, but using the GEDCOM
from Legacy. See http://rmhh.co.uk/tree2/individual.php?pid=ID.1 . I know -
there are two images not showing, but that's another matter to do with
images created with PSP 9.

This is where confusing the computer comes in handy.
I am guessing your intent, in seeing multi photos on same
event. If these are 'all four sides' pictures, you can
create a SCRAPBOOK PAGE with 4-6 photos, then make the page a
PDF, and save that PDF as a photo in the
gallery, and make it the prefered photo. I haven't done much
with this yet, but at least you can get a better
feel for what you can and cannot do.
If you want the photos interspersed in the verbiage, then you
WILL need to go to a good WP Program (Word, etc.).
Hope what we have said gives you the idea as to how YOU will proceed.

Yes, you have to order them manually - but you don't have to
delete and
reattach. You can drag and drop in the picture gallery.
For locations over time however you'd do better to add more than one
residence event, as Wm says, if you want more pictures
showing in reports.
