In 40+ years of doing genealogy I have never mis-understood the idea that
when a field is blank it means the person entering the data did not know the
information. In other words, a blank field means "Unknown".
What an amazing principle....
So why not give the researcher the option of having "Yes" or "No" checked, OR both left blank?
