But why double the program load? Just make an event called Fact; you can set
it up with no dates, no location, no anything except notes -- whatever suits
your need. Or leave the date field in, but set it to not to be included in
the sentence -- then you can sort it among other events and still have just
the statement you want showing on reports. With sentence configuration and
over-ride, there very, very few things that could not be neatly handled.
What sort of fact do you have in mind that could not be handled this way?

Legacy does not have facts.  Legacy does have events.
Events are facts with dates.  Such as a birth EVENT.
As in Uncle Joe was born on Sep 12, 1908, in Chicago Illinois.
It is a a fact that Uncle Joe was born in Chicago.
Event's and Facts are different.  Other Gen programs have both
Facts and Events and I wish Legacy would include facts because
I think they enhance collecting genealogical information.  While
it may be your OPINION that they are "redundant and cumbersome"
other genealogists, myself included, regard them as efficient, because
in recording say a person's eye color there is no wasted space for
a superfluous date.
