Mike,

I had the same problem, but I agree with others it is not a problem with
the program itself, otherwise, so many others would not have this problem.
But you are not alone. Several of us out here have had the same thing
happen.

After repeatedly hanging up on the download of the legacy.lng from
withinLegacy Deluxe 5.0, I eventually went back, deleted the legacy.lng
file, and downloaded from the website.

I don't know why it eventually worked, but believe it might have had
something to do with my temporarily deactivating several filters
(scamblocker, accelerator, pop-up blocker) that my dial-up Earthlink ISP
uses. 

I'd suggest you check your firewall, virus recognition software on your
computer, and see if this might be causing the problem in download.
