I wanted to do exactly what John wants to do for a long time. I've given up.
There has been lots of discussion about this but as far as I've heard no
solution other than mono spaced fonts, but I could have just missed it.
Maybe I missed it because the solution is always revealed off-list!

Can't you explain it Cathy on the list because you have to send attachments?
Or is there some other reason? It seems that if there is a solution to a
question on a thread the solution should be revealed on the thread.

Or is the complete solution,
