Ed,

The Index view is just a different view of the Name List. Go to the Name
List and click on the Print button where you'll find the fields you can
include in your report. Save it to csv and the file can be opened in your
spreadsheet, database or word processor program.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] desire to generate a file from the Index View

Is there a way to create a text file from the information presented in the
Index View for all entries in the database? I realize that I could (and
have) define a "printer" to generate a text file, but I can find no way to
print the Index View, nor can I find a way to export only the spefic Index
View information to a text file. Basically, I'd like a CSV or tab separated
file from the info in the Index View. Am I missing something simple?

Thanks,
Ed Lawler
