I and most others are already in overload with all Legacy can do but that what makes it such a great tool. Right!
Ok, at the risk of adding the zillienth option to Legacy.... I have a couple more suggestions for Dave as he looks at the web page generation. 1. When creating the web pages, if files exist in the web folder, Legacy always asks if you want to "Delete all existing files"and if you want to to "Remove all existing picture files". Is there a way to turn off these prompts and have them default to "No"? I NEVER (well almost never) delete or remove the pictures and it would be nice not to have to worry about accidentally clicking on the wrong button. 2. I have an index.htm file that I have created with all the links into the Name Index, Surnames etc. that I have to copy to the web directory every time after the pages are generated. I would like an option to not have Legacy generate the index.htm (html) file. I'm no programmer, but seems to me there can't be all that much to do. It would be most helpful if others at LUG would also voice a request that Legacy fix their html code for pedigree webpages. thanks so much RonKZ Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp
