This would be a wonderful feature for Legacy to have. Unfortunately, I
don't think you can be selective. When one saves to an event, everything in
the clipboard is unloaded.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Copying Sources
I'm not even sure how to phrase this question. I have looked it up in the
Help file as well as in my Legacy manual, but I could find no answer.
When I copy a source to the Source Clipboard, Legacy asks if I want to
overwrite it, or if I want to append it to the other sources on the Source
Clipboard.
If I append it, how do I select only that source to use from the five on
the Source Cliipboard?
In other words, I want to carry five sources in the Source Clipboard, but
I'd like to be able to only use one of them at a time.
